I am really pleased to say my walking is better than ever before and I have just returned from my first skiing holiday post surgery.
When I initially went for a consultation with Mr Wilson he asked me what I wanted out of the surgery. I wanted to trek again and back to skiing at a reasonable level. He promised me that would happen if I did as I was told during rehab. Chris has been instrumental in maintaining my mobility for 20+ years. Having misaligned patellae since childhood I developed quite severe osteoarthritis between both patellae and femoral condyles in my 40s. He replaced the surfaces with patellofemoral components in 2007 which really helped me in terms of both pain and mobility. I have now had total knee replacements, the most recent in December 2023. He is both thorough and caring and takes the trouble to explain all procedures, scans etc in detail.
