I would like to apologise for the very late response to the surgery I had by Mr.Wilson, I realise there has been quite a lot of events happening in the world since I was successfully operated on, but I’d like to just thank you for what you have given me back.
I was meant to have a follow up after surgery, that never happened due to lockdowns, but I carried out the protocols I was given by Mr.Wilson and my physio, I took my progress steadily and with determination, and I can say, that after surgery and since, I have been pain free for the first time in 30 years.
Such has been the success of my surgery, that I’m now back running, diving, skiing and generally having the best time.
As for running, I completed a fell running series last year on the Isle of Man which included a 33 mile ultra, as well as a series of charitable challenges without any side effects, apart from being knack eyed when I’d finished, I’m currently in training to do the same again, but with the hope of beating by a good margin my finishing time.
Please could you pass on my heartfelt thanks to Mr.Wilson and his surgical team, without whose help I would not be able to continue doing what I love. Please let me know if I need to be seen, or signed off from Mr.Wilson’s post surgical care.
