It was around this time last year that Emily unfortunately tore her ACL, firstly seeing Mark, then Chris, followed shortly by her surgery.
Rolling forward nearly 12 months post-surgery, and following a huge amount of rehab with Triston Jenkins, Emily finally made her return to football for Haverfordwest Academy U15s just over a week ago! She played 15 minutes, and it was quite possibly the best 15 minutes she has ever played and this week played another 30 minutes. While the injury was a huge setback, she turned it into an opportunity to come back stronger and fitter. With strength and conditioning now a part of her daily life that she genuinely loves, alongside 1-to-1 football sessions, she looks and feels so much stronger.
It’s been quite a rollercoaster over the last 12 months, but all three of us wanted to reach out and express our deepest gratitude for your care and expertise. Your promptness, professionalism, and genuine compassion made a world of difference to us during a very scary time. That early phase played a huge part in where she is today, both mentally and physically. We are so truly grateful!
Thank you once again for everything.
